SINCE 2019
Who We Are

Treasures In Earthen Jars (TIEJ) is a faith-based 501 © (3) non-profit organization that currently provides services to disadvantaged impoverished people in the East Flatbush, Flatlands, Canarsie, Midwood, and Mill Basin sections of Brooklyn. Incorporated in 2019, the organization has been providing social and behavioral support to our community for a long time. We simply helped our neighbors, because we believed that is what we are called for. However, to partner with other organizations and getting more support, incorporating the organization was necessary and required to secure help and make a greater impact.
The main purpose of the organization is to bridge the socio-economic and cultural gap by supporting our fellow brothers and sisters in need of comprehensive social services that are too often not readily available in our neighborhoods and may not be adequate to meet the cultural, social and language need of our community that is mainly composed of individuals from foreign countries with all sorts of barriers…
