COUNSELING & MENTORSHIP
Supporting our Youth
We timidly offer low scale mentorship and counseling to a limited number of youth due to scarcity of resources and our inability to engage more professional volunteers. Most social workers and counselors as well as psychologists are extremely unavailable to assist with these youth. Our Executive Director and one generous Social Worker have dedicated some of their scarce time to assist with this. However, we would really like to do this full scale considering the high demand in our community and cultural constraints that are so discouraging to other people who mostly cannot understand the nuances and thus not able to effectively provide the help needed. Our team is diligently seeking funds to fully staffed this program and be able to offer it to a more extensive group than the limited help we are currently offering mostly to a few young people in our community. We have also have a few adult cases but we try not to advertise it too much because we don’t currently have the bandwidth to provide this service as efficiently and effectively as we should.
Have you ever wondered what happens to the clothes we no longer wear? Well, they can change lives! When we donate our gently used clothes, we help people who don’t have enough. Homeless individuals, low-income families, and disaster victims benefit from our generosity. It’s not just about fashion—it’s about warmth, dignity, and hope. So, let’s turn our closets into a force for good!
